Frequently Asked Questions
for IV Vitamin Therapy
-
Intravenous (IV) vitamin therapy allows various critical nutrients to be administered into the body directly into the bloodstream through one of your veins. When vitamins and other essential nutrients are delivered directly into the bloodstream, they bypass the digestive system, where many nutrients get lost and are not absorbed. With IV vitamin therapy, nutrients and minerals can go to work, instantly replenishing and revitalizing your body and organs from the inside out.

Yes, only vitamins that are approved and evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) are used. All IVs are administered by experienced registered nurses under the supervision of a licensed medical provider. Before a client receives IV vitamin therapy, a health history form is completed ahead of time. Our medical staff will review your health history form to determine if IV vitamin therapy is appropriate for you.
-
Although most people can benefit from IV vitamin therapy, we do not treat minors under the age of 18. Certain chronic medical conditions such as heart, kidney or significant liver disease can also disqualify clients from receiving an IV vitamin treatment. Your medical history and vital signs will be reviewed prior to receiving treatment.
-
Expect to spend between 45-60 minutes to complete an IV vitamin therapy appointment. In this time, we will review your medical history again to make sure there hasn’t been any changes, answer any questions prior to your treatment, administer your IV vitamin therapy and provide post-treatment instructions.
