SAMI O’BRIEN

Sami received her Bachelor’s in Nursing from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2022. Prior to nursing school, she worked as a Clinical Technician during the COVID pandemic. Before becoming a nurse, she received a Bachelor’s degree from James Madison University and worked in the corporate world - hiring nurses. She has experience in floor nursing, as well as the emergency room. IVs and phlebotomy are her specialty! Sami’s passion for people, community, and wellness has led her to pursue a career in nurse coaching and holistic care. 

Born and raised in New York, spending a few years in Northern Virginia, Sami relocated to Richmond in 2021. As an athlete, she’s played all kinds of sports, primarily soccer, softball, and rugby. She loves spending time out in nature, especially with her sweet pup, Lexi. You’ll likely find her at a farmer’s market, throwing a ball around, grilling in the summers, or dining and dancing with friends!
